Business Forum and The Garden Plotters Perennial Garden. She and her husband had two children, Nicholas Grant Rasmussen and Elizabeth Merritt Rasmussen. An avid traveler, gardener, photographer, and cook, she will be remembered for her love of family, her organizational abilities and her extraordinary sense of humor. She was a ready and unselfish helper to all who knew her. When she heard that a friend or acquaintance needed assistance of any kind, she gave of her time and talent to make them feel comfortable and secure. Survivors include her husband; two children, Nick of San Rafael, California, and Beth of New York City, New York; her mother, Betty Breckenfelder of Muscatine, Iowa; brothers, David Breckenfelder and wife, Sue, of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, and John Breckenfelder and wife, Sherri, of St. Charles, Illinois; sisters, Ann Moody and husband, Chuck, of Muscatine and Susan Thilo and husband, Tom, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; her mother-in-law, Mary Ann Rasmussen of Madison; brothers-in-law, Eric Rasmussen and wife, Nanette, of Madison, Paul Rasmussen and wife, Karen, of Oconomowoc; sisters-in-law, Susan Goodman and husband, Sam, of Chevy Chase, Maryland, Peg Schroeder and husband, Walt, of DeForest, Wisconsin, Christine Gunderson and husband, Bob, of Beloit, Wisconsin, Karen Weier and husband, Scott, of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, and Clare Radtke and husband, Dick, of Madison; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; and her father-in-law, Dr. Nathaniel Rasmussen of Dodgeville, Wisconsin.
