Alan Kammerer BLUE GRASS, Iowa - Alan Kammerer, 27, of Blue Grass, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2004, at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus, Davenport. Services are 10 a.m. Monday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will be at Blue Grass Cemetery. Visitation is 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Cade's educational fund. Mr. Kammerer was born Dec. 9, 1976, in Iowa City, the son of Jerry and Justine Cuppy Kammerer. He married Lisa Gerks Aug. 8, 1998, in Blue Grass. He worked at Yellow Freight Lines, Davenport as a truck driver. He was a member of Local Union number 371 and an avid Chicago Bears fan. He was a devoted husband and father and enjoyed spending time with his family most of all. Survivors include his wife, Lisa, of Blue Grass; son, Cade, of Blue Grass; mother, Justine Cuppy of Wilton and father, Jerry Kammerer of Davenport; brother, Daniel Kammerer of Wilton; maternal grandmother, Etta Cuppy of Davenport; paternal grandparents, Robert and Jeannette Wildermuth of Milan; paternal grandparents, Donald and Carol Kammerer of Eldridge; brothers-in-law, Keith Gerks and his wife, Valerie, of Princeton an...[more]
