Clinton and Clifford Avenue). Interment private. Additional Information Salvatore served in the United States Air Force for 4 years during the Korean Conflict. He was a Gannett employee for 42 years. He started in the Maintenance Department and at his retirement in 1995 he was Pressroom Foreman. He was active in Boy Scouts for many years and watched his son and grandsons reach Eagle Rank. He was a devoted husband and father. He took special pride in the achievements of all his grandchildren. Salvatore was an active member of St. Michael's Church and was happy to help out at services or as the "go to fix-it" person. He will be missed by all who knew him.
