Margarita Gonzalez MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Margarita Martinez Gonzalez, 51, Muscatine, died Tuesday, April 6, 2004, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Graveside services are 2 p.m. Friday, April 9, at Greenwood Cemetery, Muscatine. Casket bearers are Freddy Martinez, Peter Martinez, Raymond Cardona, Ignacio 'Chito' Gonzalez. Visitation is noon until service time Friday, April 9, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, 2907 Mulberry Ave. A memorial has been established at the funeral home. Mrs. Gonzalez was born May 5, 1952, in Carrizo Springs, Texas, the daughter of Pete and Elena Dias Martinez. She married Ignacio Gonzalez in 1971. Survivors include her mother, Elena of Muscatine; four sons, Ignacio 'Chito' Gonzalez, Joey Gonzalez and Jesse Gonzalez, all of Muscatine, and Tony Gonzalez of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Tiffany Gonzalez of Muscatine; three brothers, Pete Martinez Jr. of Des Moines and Frank Cardona and Ismiel Martinez, both of Muscatine; four sisters, Mary Garcia and Paula Hernandez, both of Oregon, Angela Cardona of Muscatine and Alice Pineta of Milwaukee, Wis.; and seven grandchildren.
