Truth departed this life on August 2, 2019. He was predeceased by his loving Aunt LaToya Wilbern-Woods. He will always be dearly loved by his parents, Katrina and Brian Bynoe Sr; 3 sisters, Brianna Jones, Niaya Plummer and Brianna Bynoe; Grandparents, Cynthia Joseph, Bertha Kate Wilbern and Flora Wilbern; Aunts, Violet (Teddy) Wilbern-Givens, Gwendolyn (Ronald) Haywood, Kisha (Jay) Day-Dawkins, Joyesha (Trent) Blake-Davidson, Clishay Lovejoy, Dean Rivers, Marquita Young; Uncles, Larry (Askyia) Lacy, Omar Lacy, David (Brenda) Wilbern. Visitation will be Friday, August 16, 4-8pm at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. Brian's celebration of life will be Saturday at 11:00am at the funeral home. Brian Shyheim Bynoe Jr. "Truth" was born in Rochester, NY on December 5, 1999 to Brian Sr., and Katrina Bynoe. Brian attended Nazareth Academy, Aquinas High School, Pittsford Middle School and then Spencerport High School where he wrestled and played football. rian "Truth" Shyheim Bynoe proved to be a fighter. Just two weeks after his mother Katrina Bynoe learned that she was pregnant she was placed on bedrest. Three months later she was advised to abort her child and when she was six months pregnant she was informed that her pregnancy would either take her life or Brian Jr.'s. On December 5, 1999 Brian was born in a healthy state to Katrina and Brian Bynoe Sr. Brian who grew up as Brian or "Shy" had a strong love for family, friends, philosophy and music. Everyone came to know him as "Truth" due to his honesty, strength and individuality in life. This is what Brian expected from everyone and exactly what you received from him...the Truth. Brian would hold you accountable at all times even when you wouldn't remember he could replay an exact conversation you had with him and laugh and say "I don't care that's what you said so when are you going to make it happen?!" He was passionate about everything life had in store and was determined to be successful. He knew he would make everyone proud of him. Brian grew up in a home with two adopted brothers and several foster siblings throughout the years. He grew up surrounded by love and likewise reciprocated love to many. Brian needed a Heart Transplant and on February 1, 2017 at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. He received the precious gift of a heart. With the grace of our heavenly Father, he persevered through the pain, surgeries and countless occasions of being informed that Brian would not make it through the night.
