of Federal Meat Inspection for 33 years retiring in 1985. He graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia, Mo., with a degree in veterinary medicine. He was a member of the University Alumni Association and the National Tennessee Walking Horses Association. He raised and showed Tennessee Walking Horses and Yorkshire Terriers. He enjoyed attending The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration in Shelbyville, Tenn. each year. He loved animals, horses and cutting wood in the timber. He also enjoyed woodworking, gardening and was a sports addict. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Vicki Cullifer and husband, Frank, of Hampton, Va., Jody Moeller and husband, Kevin, of Walcott, Shelly Minnick of Blue Grass; a son, Jeff Minnick of Blue Grass; two sisters, Sarah West of Carrollton, Mo., Mary Lou Ruckdeschell and husband, Charles, of Richmond, Mo.; six grandchildren, Schalene and Kelsey Schee and Kelly, Kyle, Keri and Kacie Moeller. He was preceded in death by his parents.
