Marciano, Frank J. Greece: September 9, 2017. Predeceased by his parents, George Rose Marciano; mother-in-law father-in-law Rose Anthony Donofrio; brother-in-law Joseph Donofrio. Frank is survived by his wife MaryAnn Donofrio Marciano; children, Scott (Jeannine) Marciano, Paul (Julie) Marciano Brian (Sheila) Marciano; grandchildren, Rachel, Rebecca, Kailee, Sarah, Nicholas, Bella Jessica Marciano; George (Sue Dean) Marciano; sisters-in-law, Lorraine (Tony) Valenti, Roe Donofrio Lorraine Marciano; aunt Angie Ferraro; uncle Sam Donofrio; many nieces, nephews, cousins dear friends. Frank was born in Rochester and lived on Jay St. He loved hunting, fishing and cars. He graduated from the Aquinas Institute in 1963, moving on to St. John Fisher College. He was a Marine had many fun stories to tell about his time serving in the Marine Corps. A blind date brought he and his wife MaryAnn together and they were married for 49 years, since 1968. They soon had 3 sons and life was busy. They went on vacations to Lake George, camped in Dansville, NY and enjoyed the holidays together. As time went on, he and MaryAnn enjoyed the balmy winters in Florida. Frank enjoyed many things. He always had a love of hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed Italian Club, carpentry and crossword puzzles. Frank loved his New York Yankees and Greenbay Packers. He was an avid reader, favorite authors being James Patterson and Clive Cussler. You'd often catch Frank watching old classic movies and westerns. Frank was a family man, always spending as much quality time with them as possible. He was known to his grandkids as "Trinket Man" due to all the little things he collected like antiques, pocket knives and watches. Frank's visitation will be Wednesday, 3-7 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.). His funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, 9:30AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 W. Ridge Rd., followed by his burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
