e met Shirley at North Park Lanes and they were married in a ceremony at Our Mother of Sorrows Church. They were married for 49 years and raised four children. In his spare time, Sam liked to golf, bowl, play games of chance and softball. Sam always had multiple sets of golf clubs and bowling balls. He loved his cockatiel, Maggie and his son Scott's cat, Nicco. Some of Sam's other favorite things included watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, as well as old western and black white movies. Sam enjoyed having a Southern Comfort manhattan and a Michelob Ultra. Sam also had many, many quotes that he was famous for, such as: "Snap out of it", "Shirley you just", You should have bought a farm", "That's disgusting", "Don't nervous me", "Good NU", and "We are out of cake". Family and friends would describe Sam as someone who had a great dry sense of humor, was traditional, generous, hard-working, neat, dedicated, and loved his grandchildren very much. He will be dearly missed.
