Pauline Stapp COLUMBUS JUNCTION, Iowa #45;- Pauline Stapp, 79, Columbus Junction, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City. Services are 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 11, at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Thursday, June 10, at the funeral home. A memorial has been established at the funeral home. Mrs. Stapp was born July 19, 1924, in Sperry, the daughter of Elmer and Emeline D. Jamison Aspelmeier. She married Donald Lewis Stapp on May 24, 1943, in Washington. He preceded her in death in 1994. She enjoyed fishing and playing cards with her friends. She loved visiting with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a volunteer at the Colonial Manor Care Center, Columbus Junction. She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include four daughters, Lois Lee of Cornelia, Geogia., Linda Lord and husband, George, of Ainsworth, Connie Cronbaugh and husband, Robert W., of Marengo and Donna Holskey and husband, Richard, of Valdosta, Georgia.; a son, Gary Stapp and wife, Arla, of Grandview; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Walter Aspel...[more]
