Melba I. Bailey

Melba I. Bailey Murphysboro Tennessee - Melba I. Bailey, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Stonecrest Hospital in Smyrna Tennessee. She was born on December 23, 1936, in Norris Illinois, to Charles and Goldie (Beaird) Parks. They preceded her in death. Melba married John Bailey and he preceded her in death in 1990. Surviving are three children, Betty Bailey of Murphysboro Tennessee, Kathy (Nicholas) Doll of Gilbert Arizona, and Lorie (Mark Steahl) Alexander of Fort Collins Colorado, two grandchildren, Faith (Mark) Lesniewicz and Bailey Alexander and one great grandson, Tyler Lesniewicz. Also preceding her in death are three brothers and one twin sister. Melba was a deep devote Christian women who loved God with all her heart. Cremation rites have been accorded with Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton a burial of her ashes will be held at a later date at Prairie City Cemetery in Prairie City Illinois.
