Survivors include three sons, Dennis Jens and wife, Nancy, of Muscatine, Randy Jens and wife, Janeen, of Muscatine, Gary Jens of Muscatine; one daughter, Dorothy Schmoldt and husband, Dean, of Muscatine; one step-son, Steve Honts and wife, Mary, of Muscatine; two step-daughters, Janet Forbes and husband, Steven, of Muscatine, and Violet Reiter and husband, Ed, of Burlington; 14 grandchildren, Michael Schmoldt, Karen Schmoldt Thomas, Allan Schmoldt, Barb Crews, Robert 'Buddy' Jens, Melissa Winters, Jody Hitchcock, Jessica Jens, Gary Jens Jr., Brandon Jens, Cory Jens, Jamie McBride, Shannon Jens and Randi Wisecup; 15 great-grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter; and one sister, Betty Kesterson of Escondito, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husband, four sons, Richard, Merle, Fred and Donald, one step-son, William Honts, and one great great-grandson, Austin Walker.
