BESSIE GRAY MUSCATINE, Iowa - Bessie Elizabeth Gray, 93, died Monday, July 26, 2004, at Muscatine Care Center. Funeral Service will be 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2004, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Casket bearers will be her grandsons. Honorary bearers will be her great grandsons. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Gray was born June 22, 1911, in Pike Township, Muscatine County, the daughter of Roy Clinton and Caroline Etta Meyers Cochran. She married Louis Earl Gray, June 23, 1928, in Muscatine. Bessie worked as a surgical technician at Muscatine General Hospital for over 10 years until 1965, when she became employed by HON Industries in housekeeping, where she retired in 1977. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge #277.
