braska. Road design and bridges were his main focus initially but he had a very diverse portfolio to his credit. He spent 13 years working in Nebraska. He continued his journey by working for private firms in Mason City, Council Bluffs and then onto Phoenix, AZ where he expanded his career in housing development before retiring in Spirit Lake. Mark enjoyed spending time at his properties in Spirit Lake and Royal in addition to sharing his time with Irma. He loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed attending concerts and taking his nieces and nephews to his cherished Iowa State Cyclones football and basketball games. Mark had a great affection for sports. He was a member of Teener League baseball and also played with a championship baseball team for the Saint Edmond Gaels. He also played basketball and participated in the Fort Dodge City Softball League. Mark made a profound impact in many peoples lives that were not left unnoticed. He lived life to the fullest. He will always be remembered for his huge smile and devotion to his friends and family. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
