Crile, 87, Muscatine, formerly of Fort Madison and Donnellson, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, at Lutheran Homes. Burial will be at Evangelical Cemetery, Donnellson. A memorial has been established. Mrs. Crile was born June 26, 1917, in Donnellson, the daughter of Chris and Dora Klingler Schlicher. She married Waldo H. Crile June 29, 1941. He preceded her in death Oct. 3, 2003. She graduated from Donnellson High School in 1936. She taught in country schools near Donnellson for five years. She retired in 1980 from the Sheaffer Pen Co. She was a member of First Christian Church, Muscatine, and was a former member of Santa Fe United Methodist Church, Fort Madison. Survivors include a son, Steven Crile and wife Judy of Muscatine; a daughter, Beverly Sanders and husband Mike of Camdenton, Mo.; five grandchildren, Amy, Alison and Andrew Sanders, Christopher and Craig Crile.; a sister, Ruth Krehbiel of St. Louis, Mo.; a brother, Leland Schlicher of Donnellson; and several nieces and nephews. ...[more]
