Joseph Patrick Services: 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, Wapello. Visitation is after 9 a.m. Monday, funeral home. FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. #45;- Joseph Ramon Patrick, 69, Fort Lauderdale, and a longtime resident of Wapello, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004, at Northridge Medical Center, Fort Lauderdale. The Rev. Dan Doolin will officiate the services. After the services, a private burial will be at the Wapello Cemetery followed by a gathering of family and friends at Solid Rock Baptist Church, Wapello. A memorial fund has been established for the American Heart Association. Mr. Patrick was born July 1, 1935, in Kenosha, Wis., the son of Joseph and Petra Mildred Madsen Patrick. He married Patricia Frances Wehage March 17, 1957, in Sperry. He graduated from Wapello High School in 1954 and attended Southeastern Community College for two years. He served in the U.S. Army. For many years, he owned Patrick's True Value, Wapello. He was an active member of the Wapello Chamber of Commerce. He enjoyed restoring antique cars and woodworking. His family pet was Shorty.
