Patrick Woods Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29, Henderson-Barker Funeral Home, West Branch. Visitation: 3-6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, funeral home. WEST BRANCH, Iowa #45;- Patrick L. Woods, 65, West Branch, died suddenly Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City. The Rev. Scot Patrick will officiate the services. Burial will be at West Branch Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established. Mr. Woods was born Aug. 19, 1939, in Joetown, the son of Walter and Mary Ellen Butterball Woods. He married Patricia Kelley Sept. 5, 1956, in Iowa City. She preceded him in death Sept. 26, 1998. He had worked for the City of West Branch in the Streets and Maintenance Department for 28 years, retiring in 1999. Survivors include two sons, Raymond Woods and wife Deborah of West Branch and David Woods of Idaho; three daughters, Sheri Cain and husband Ron of West Branch, Lisa Ginther and husband Larry of West Branch and Barbara Williams and husband Scott of Englewood, Colo.; a sister, Bess Wenman of Iowa City; and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and three brothers, Raymond, Donald and Harold. [more]
