BETTENDORF, Iowa #45;- Florence Holladay, 76, Bettendorf, formerly of Dixon, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at Riverview Manor, Pleasant Valley. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, Ill. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or First Baptist Church, Davenport. Mrs. Holladay was born Dec. 27, 1927, in Davenport, the daughter of Fred and Ruth Grupe Haller. She married Gaylord R. Holladay in Davenport. He preceded her in death July 7, 2000. She was a homemaker who was active in the American Legion Post 26 Auxiliary, Davenport, and the Navy Mother's Club. She was a life time member of First Baptist Church, Davenport. She enjoyed needlework, crafts and word puzzles. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and her great-granddaughter.
