Florence S. Curutchague

Florence, 73, passed away December 22, 2015 in Los Banos,CA. She was born on March 19, 1942 in Cokeville, Wyoming. She moved from Wyoming to Los Banos California in 1964. She worked as a waitress in the sixties and seventies at Wool Growers, and she also owned and operated the Cornell Hotel during the seventies. In the late 1970's through 2001 she owned and operated the Chalet Basque Restaurant in Los Banos. Florence is survived by her husband Ambroise Curutchague; sons: Bill Curutchague, Steve Curutchague & Junior Curutchague; daughter in law: Claudia Curutchague; grandchildren: Christian Curutchague, Ambroise Tanner Curutchague, Taylor Curutchague, Camila Curutchague & Nicole Curutchague; sisters: Pauline Newbry & Shirley Quintana; brother in law: Owen Newbry Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 beginning with Rosary at 10:00 a.m. followed by Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Los Banos, CA.
