MARK WARD MUSCATINE, Iowa - Mark A. Ward, 46, of Muscatine, died Monday, January 17, 2005, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2005, at Faith United Church of Christ, 3307 Mulberry Avenue. Reverend James Trosen of the Faith United Church of Christ and The Reverend John P. Gallagher of the Ss. Mary and Mathias Parish will officiate the service. Casket Bearers will be Joe Rhodes, Court Burkamper, Don Holland, Barry Mills, Tom Vandygriff, and Danny Bean. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2005, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made for Jennifer's Education Fund in care of Nancy Ward. Mark was born on November 11, 1958, in Muscatine, the son of Arnold O. and Janet Tobias Ward. He married Nancy L. Holbach on June 10, 1989, in Muscatine. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Ward of Muscatine; one daughter, Jennifer-Lee Ward of Muscatine; one brother, Thomas W. Ward and wife, Trina, of Muscatine; one sister, Lori Horst and husband, Art, of Durant; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and Ginny Holbach of Waterloo. He was preceded in death by his parents and maternal and paternal grandparents.
