Darrell Allchin Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, 2907 Mulberry Ave. Visitation: 4-7- p.m. today, funeral home. MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Darrell G. Allchin, 69, formerly of Muscatine, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005, at Unity Hospital after an extended illness. Chaplain Vicki Pedersen will officiate the services. Casket bearers are Leroy Jackson Jr., Michael Peck, Jacob Howard, Al Werner, James Peck and Keith Allchin. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. After the burial, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Eagles Lodge. A memorial has been established at the funeral home. Mr. Allchin was born Oct. 15, 1935, in Scott County, the son of Gus G. and Celia Danze Allchin. He married Roberta J. Peck Sept. 5, 1964, at St. Mark's Church, Davenport. He was employed at Cipco, Montpelier, for 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed the outdoors, was an avid duck hunter and loved to fish. Survivors include his wife; a son, Darrell B. Allchin; two daughters, Peggy S. Howard and husband Robert and Wanda L. Jackson and husband Leroy, all of Muscatine; a brother, Marlin G.
