Gloria Engler

Gloria M. Engler, 94, died Thursday, March 4, 2021 at her daughter's home in West Des Moines. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 8, 2021 at Laufersweiler Funeral Home with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be on Monday beginning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Masks are required along with social distancing. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Timothy and Helen Coleman, husband of 52 years, Eugene VonBank, husband of nine years, Floyd Magnusson, sister, Norma DuBois, and husband of four years, Thomas Engler. She is survived by her son, Michael Von Bank (Tricia) of The Villages, FL, her daughter, Vicki Simpson (Jim) of West Des Moines, IA, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, her sister, Lila Beightol of Fort Dodge and numerous other family members.
