Visitations: 3-7 p.m. Friday, March 18, Bentley Funeral Home, Durant and one hour prior to services Saturday, church. DURANT, Iowa #45;- Loren S. Bockwoldt, 48, and his wife, Tammy Bockwoldt, 43, Durant, died Saturday, March 12, 2005, in Arizona the result of traffic accident. The Rev. Nancy Hoelter will officiate the services. Musical selections will be provided by organist Sue Voss. Casket bearers for Tammy are Jack Horan, Mike Hutchison, Sean Thompson, Jim Morris, Bill Grinestaff, Tom Houston, Steve Ralfs and Mel Brus. Casket bearers for Loren are Charles Lilienthal, Verne Van De Walle, Dave Oien, Dale Schlueter, Neil Wulf, Kevin Neumann, Jim Keppy and Larry Schlapkohl. Burial will be at Durant Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established for their daughter. Mr. Bockwoldt was born Oct. 4, 1956, in Davenport, the son of Donald and Janice Langmann Bockwoldt. He married Tammy Harris on Nov. 26, 1988, in Durant. He graduated from Durant High School. He was a farmer, good neighbor and worked various other jobs. ber and past president of the Durant Lions Club, and was serving in his second term on the Durant School Board. He was past president of the Durant Jaycees and Ambassador and Governor of the Iowa Jaycees. He was a member of the Muscatine County Cattlemen's Association, Iowa Soybean Association, National Corn Growers Association, and Muscatine County Pork Producers. He was a former member of the Durant Athletic Boosters, a former Cub Scout leader and coach for his children's ball teams. He enjoyed playing cards and bowling. He is survived by their daughter, Brandie Bockwoldt at home; and their son, Bock Bockwoldt and wife, Joni, of Zion, Ill. Loren is also survived by his mother, Janice Bockwoldt of Durant; a sister, Karen Gookin and husband, Doug, of Wilton; and a brother, Neal Bockwoldt and wife, Susan, of St. Louis, Mo. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Bockwoldt; a brother, Mark Bockwoldt; and his grandparents.
