Brown Hershey, 58, Findlay, died Friday, March 25, 2005, at her home, surrounded by her family. The Rev. Ronald W. Wunsch will officiate the services. Entombment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park, Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Bridge Home Health and Hospice, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, OH 45840. Mrs. Hershey was born July 13, 1946, in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Dr. Walter H. and Leona Brown Jr. She married Melvin P. Hershey Jr. March 14, 1970, in Akron. She attended Ohio State University and graduated from Akron General Hospital School of Nursing with an RN diploma. She worked for several years prior to starting a family. She spent the rest of her life raising her family and was an active volunteer in various community organizations. She enjoyed singing, laughing, reading, watching her grandchildren, attending her children's activities, bowling, making crafts and spending time with her family and friends. rself. She always had a smile on her face and brought joy to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but her spirit will be in our hearts forever. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. Survivors include her husband; a son, Aaron Hershey and wife, Becky, of Illinois; two daughters, Allison Sywassink and husband, Eric, of Iowa and Amanda Hershey and fiancée, Casey Lombard, of Michigan; two grandsons, David and Grant Sywassink; sisters, Pam McCool and husband, Jerry, of Ohio and Judy Kusnyer and husband, Art, of Florida; brother- and sister-in-law, Randy and Sue Hershey of Ohio; father- and mother-in-law, Mel and Mary Hershey of Ohio; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
