LAKELAND, Fla. #45;- Kathryn Marie McEnany Christensen, 46, Lakeland, died Friday, April 15, 2005, at her home. Casket bearers are her nieces and nephews, Pat McEnany, Cheryl Parks, Steve McEnany, Stacey Scott, Laurie Moore, Lisa Moore, Brian Moore, Michelle Lutz and Matthew Feldmann. Burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery, Wilton. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, Lakeland. Mrs. Christensen was born Feb. 27, 1959, in Manchester, the daughter of Arthur and Loretta Short McEnany. She married Donald Arthur Schaul Feb. 4, 1978. She married Jon Scott Christensen June 24, 1995, in Wilton. She was raised in the Ryan and Manchester areas. She and Donald had two daughters, Katie Lynn and Kinsey Marie Schaul. She was very active in helping with the girls' activities. She volunteered as a religious education teacher and helped host many events at the church. t an additional career in this community with Publix Supermarkets where she had been employed since 2000. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Lakeland. She leaves us with a message. She hopes if you ever met her, you caught the sparkle. Hopefully you walked away with a smile. A smile costs so little and means so much. Survivors include her husband, Jon Christensen of Lakeland; her parents, A.J. and Loretta McEnany of Manchester; two daughters, Katie Schaul of Manchester and Kinsey Schaul of Cedar Falls; two stepdaughters, Tonya Lazenby and husband Andy of Pineville, N.C., and Kelli Hansen and husband Tim of Iowa City; three grandchildren, Shelby, T.J. and Trevor; four sisters, Margie Heles and husband John of Des Moines, Marilyn Moore and husband Charlie and Barbara Feldmann and husband Dan, all of Cedar Rapids, and Maxine McEnany of Davenport; two brothers, Arthur McEnany and wife Ginny of Topeka, Kan., and Bill McEnany of Ryan; her mother-in-law, Arlene Christensen of Wilton; and a sister-in-law, Shelley Kay and husband Dennis of Davenport. She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas McEnany; her father-in-law, John 'Ardell' Christensen; and a nephew, Scott McEnany.
