Sophia Ruth Dunaway

Passed peacefully in her sleep at her home in Dallas, on March 12th 2021. She was born on December 29th 19344 in Columbus, Mississippi. Attended High school in Starkville, MS, then to Marion College and on to Wittenberg University. Where she obtained a Fine Arts degree in Music. During her life, Ruth enjoyed her time working at such places as, Yellowstone National Park, Bryan Adams High School, Home Insurance Co., and Dr. Pepper. She enjoyed serving her church, gardening, collecting depression glass, travel and the Symphony. She was preceded by her husband Dallas Hart Dunaway, her sister Hazel Ann Stacey and parents. Ruth is survived by her brother George Tullos and her three children with Dallas, Sharon, Jennie and Robert.
