MERCEDES PARADA UVALLE MUSCATINE, Iowa - Mercedes Uvalle, 61, of Muscatine, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021, at UnityPoint Hospital in Rock Island. A private family service will be held. Mercedes was born on February 15, 1960, in Rio Bravo, Mexico, the daughter of Merced and Ofelia Moctezuma Uvalle. She married Cristobal Parada on June 1, 2014, in Warwick, New York. Mercedes enjoyed gardening, swimming, fishing, and going to the park with her grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family. Those left to honor her memory include her two sons, Luis and Cristobal Uvalle; one daughter, Denise Guevara; four grandchildren, Freddy, Adriana, Brenda, and Briana Guevara; two brothers, Martin, David, and Eduardo Uvalle; and five sisters, Andrea Colon, San Juana Uvalle, Estela Perez, and Petra Uvalle.
