WARREN TUTT MUSCATINE, Iowa - Warren H. Tutt, 85, of Muscatine, died Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at Lutheran Homes. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2005, at the Zion Lutheran Church, Sixth and Sycamore Streets. Reverend Paul Ostrem will officiate the service. Casket bearers will be Marvin Krieger, Charles Hogan, Todd Reinsager, Harold Williams, Bill Lechner, Bob Brocket and Ralph Meerdink. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2005, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church. Warren was born on August 24, 1919, in Janesville, Wisconsin, the son of Arthur and Frieda Heuer Tutt. He married Sophia Gustas on October 19, 1940, in Muscatine. She preceded him in death in 2000. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Moose Lodge No. 388, and the Muscatine Quarterback Club. He served in the US Army Calvary during World War II. Warren worked for Henderson's and Krieger Motor Company for 50 years. He served as Service Manager for Krieger Motor Company for 30 years before retiring in 1995. Survivors include one son, James Tutt and wife, Franna, of Muscatine; one daughter, Barbara Evenson and husband, Eric, of Muscatine; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandson; one brother, Wayne Tutt of Silver Springs, Florida; and two sisters, Arlene Cooper and husband, Dwight, of Muscatine, and Mary Ann Emery of Leaberger, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sophia Tutt, one brother, Robert Tutt and one sister, Marvella Keel.
