Mark Domenick Pompeo, 71, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2021. He was born on July 24, 1949 to Francesco and Carolina Pompeo in Coraopolis, PA. After graduating from Coraopolis High School in 1967, he went on to study Business at Robert Morris College. He went on to have a long career as a restaurant owner and manager for the vast majority of his career. Operating for many years as the proud owner of Pompeo's Italian Restaurant in Moon Township, PA. Mark loved to watch new movies, listen to his sports talk radio and enjoy a Sinatra song or two. Mark was a big fan of Pittsburgh sports teams, especially the Steelers. He was known for his love of family and especially being a part of his five grandchildren's lives. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was always supportive of all things that his children and grandchildren were a part of. Anyone who knew Mark knew that he was the most loving father and grandfather a family could ask for. Mark was predeceased in death by his parents, Francesco and Carolina. PA and his son Mark (Elizabeth) Pompeo, Jr., of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by 5 loving grandchildren Angelina Pompeo, Joseph Pompeo, Marc Lucente, Brody Yoder and Ella Yoder. Also survived by 4 siblings, Angela Harris, Anthony Pompeo, Janet Churchfield, Donna Kenney and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
