Michael Garth Brooks

LEXINGTON-Mr. Michael Garth Brooks, 68, of Lexington, NC passed away at his home on March 23, 2021. Mike was born June 2, 1952 to the late Edwin Garth and Gloria Walker Brooks in Barwick, GA. Mike was an electrician with BECO Electric for 25 years and loved his work. He loved to be outside, going fishing, going to the beach, gardening, and even splitting wood. He liked coin collecting and going to flea markets. Mike was a strong man, yet gentle and easy going. He had a way of making you feel loved and secure. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of almost 38 years Amalia Lynn Snow Brooks of Lexington, NC, children Ryan Michael Brooks of Lexington, NC and Tracy Michelle Davis of Georgia, grandchildren Savanna Davis and Alex Davis, and sister Deborah Brooker (Pryce) of Georgia.[more]
