DEAN CONNOR MUSCATINE, Iowa - Dean Connor, 84, of Muscatine, died Saturday, November 12, 2005, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2005, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Pastor Tim Ferrill will officiate the services. Casket bearers will be Kenny TeStrake, Dick Leach, Kenny Connor, DeWayne Connor, Nate Brockhouse, and Justin Agness. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2005, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Muscatine Community Foundation/Ag Learning Center or the Max Bear Heart Fund. Dean was born on April 26, 1921, in Muscatine, the son of Elmer E. and Nellie Irwin Connor. He married Thelma A. Curry on May 13, 1944, in Muscatine. Dean was of the Methodist Faith and also belonged to Farm Bureau. He farmed all of his life and also drove truck.
