LouAnn Kay Schnoor Adams

LouAnn K. Adams, 49, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 12, 2021 at her home. A celebration of her life will be held at 1 P.M., Friday, April 23, 2021 at Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa. Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place and burial will be at a later date. It will be required to utilize face masks and to observe social distancing guidelines during the visitation and services. LouAnn Kay Schnoor was born on August 11, 1971 in Maquoketa, Iowa, to Garry Carl and Rita Carol (Crist) Schnoor. She was a 1989 graduate of Maquoketa Community High School. She married Norman Keith Adams on June 8, 2008 in Sterling, Illinois. They later divorced. LouAnn had worked as a respiratory therapist for 10 years while living in Phoenix, Arizona and for three years while living in Illinois. She had also lived in the Amarillo, Texas area for a short time.
