LYLE DAHNKE MUSCATINE, Iowa - Lyle C. Dahnke, 75, of Muscatine, died Wednesday, January 11, 2006, at his home. Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2006, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home, 1931 Houser Street. The Reverend Jason Crossen of the Ss. Mary and Mathias Parish will officiate. Honorary bearers will be his grandchildren, Steve Marks Jr., Timothy Marks, Adam Hill, Joshua Dahnke, Jacob Dahnke, Dan Fuller, Travis Brase, Stacey Fuller, and Cody White. A funeral luncheon will be held at the Knights of Columbus following the service. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2006, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family in care of JoAnn Dahnke. Lyle was born on May 16, 1930, in Iowa City, the son of George F. and Beulah Henderson Dahnke. He married JoAnn Abbott on December 31, 1949, in Muscatine. He retired from Grain Processing Corporation in 1990, after 30 years in the Maintenance Department. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Sharon Ranee Fuller in 1996, two sons-in-law, Dan Fuller and Timothy Brase; and three brothers, Robert, William, and Dale Dahnke.
