Marjorie Krebs IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Marjorie Ann Krebs, 90, Iowa City, died Tuesday, May 16, 2006, at Atrium Village, Hills. Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 19, 2006, at the United Presbyterian Church, Lone Tree. The Rev. Jason Pittman will officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Public Cemetery, Riverside. Casket bearers are her grandchildren, Richard Krebs, Randy Krebs, Sandy Lovetinsky, Becky Lovetinsky, Jayson Crawford and Cody Crawford. Honorary casket bearer is Peggy Miller. After the burial, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the church. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2006, at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services, Riverside. Memorials may be directed to the United Presbyterian Church or Iowa City Hospice. Mrs. Krebs was born Sept. 1, 1915, in Princeton, Ind., the daughter of Henry and Rosella Wilder Phillips. She married Richard Charles Krebs on Feb. 16, 1938, in Nichols. He preceded her in death Aug. 13, 1951. She and her family moved to Lone Tree in 1927. . She worked as a proof reader for Moore Business Forms, Iowa City, retiring at age 70. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Lone Tree. She enjoyed bowling in the Pin Buster League, cooking for her family and getting together with co-workers. Survivors include a son, Harold Krebs and wife Dorothy of Riverside; a daughter, Rosalie Hancock and husband Gene of Iowa City; seven grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and two sisters-in-law, Helen Swailes of Iowa City and Louise Phillips of Escondido, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Karen Crawford; a son-in-law, Russell Vitosh; three grandchildren, Steve Vitosh, Nicole Vitosh and one grandson in infancy; three brothers, DeWayne, Charles and George; two sisters, Helen Hora and Mildred in infancy; and special friend, Carol Eden.
