Dale Allen Mathes, 57, of Dawsonville, Georgia passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021. He was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and bonus dad. Dale was born in Washington D.C on August 12, 1963. His family moved to Chamblee, Georgia when he was 5 years old. He attended Ashford Park Elementary School and Henderson High School (Class of 1982). On February 22, 2020 he married Dana Lynn (Matthews) Mathes. Dale had been employed with Hometec Exterminating for 16 years. Dale had an incredible love for his family and friends. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan (season ticket holder for 30 years). He enjoyed NASCAR, golf, and the Atlanta Braves. Dale was preceeded in death by his father, Howard Mathes, and his grandparents, Lonnis and Georiga Gay. He is survived by his wife, Dana, mother, Janice Casper, brother, David Mathes (Trish), siblings, Susie Pace (Larry), Teresa Ramey (Doug), Terry Casper (Kathy), Patti Duncan (Pete), Jane Brookshire, Jan Wilson, Chuck Rogers (Marie), aunt, Sandra Lokey (Jerry), uncle, Kennon Sterling (Judy), bonus children Kevin Roden (Heather), Kristyn Dunn (Ansley), grandchildren Rylea, KJ, and Jackson, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews wh...[more]

he loved with his whole heart. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA with Rev. Wayne Leonard. The service can be seen at https://youtu.be/HlvlF_4Rl2g The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
