cretary of the Cedar County Fair Association. She was a past 4-H leader and past member of the Cedar County 4-H Youth Committee. She was awarded a lifetime membership to the A.S.R.B.A. in 2000 and lifetime membership to the Iowa State Rabbit Breeders Association. She was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the American Rabbit Breeders Association and was a member of many other rabbit organizations. She enjoyed attending county and state fairs. She collected cookbooks and Longaberger baskets. Above all, she loved her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Sherrie Geigle and husband Jim of Walcott, Terrie Burkey and husband Jeff of Durant and Vickie Butterbrodt and husband Lon of Clarence; two sons, Mark Weih and wife Peggy of Wilton and Matt Weih and wife Tonya of Durant; two sisters, Anita Holst of Bettendorf and Kathy Stegen and husband Bill of Arvada, Colo.; and two brothers, Leon Steinhagen of New Liberty and Marvin Steinhagen of Davenport; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
