Becky Sue Gach, 44, of Fort Madison died Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Born August 23, 1966 in Albany, Missouri, she was the daughter of Paul Wayne and Hazel (Cook) Owens. On August 7, 1993 she married Tracy A. Gach in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Mrs. Gach graduated from Albany High School in 1985. She graduated from Metro Business College in Rolla, Missouri in 1995. Mrs. Gach worked for Dr. James Hugg and Dr. Teresa Salino-Hugg for 14 years. She was a member of Holy Family Parish in Fort Madison. Most important in her life are her children, family and friends. She loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband Tracy; sons, Tobin Gach, Owen Gach and Dawson Gach all of the home; her mother, Hazel Owens of Albany, Missouri; six brothers, Andy (Denise) Owens, of Eagleville, Missouri, Carl (Elaine) Owens of Grant City, Missouri, Harold "Beanie" (Roberta) Owens , Ted (Betty) Owens, Steve (Janet) Owens, and Hal (Sonya) Owens all of Albany, Missouri; three sisters, Kathy (John) Overly of Iowa City, Carolyn Munoz of Kansas City, Missouri and Barb (Mike) Stewart of Albany, Missouri; 34 nieces and nephews who she de...[more]

y loved; 27 great nieces and nephews; two aunts, Mary Moore and Helen Cook and an uncle, James Cook all of Blythedale, Missouri and numerous cousins. She is also survived by her best friend of 30 years, Tammie Oberle Winsett of Panama City, Florida; a special friend, Marcy Sorenson of Albany, Missouri; her day-time family, Dr. Teresa-Salino Hugg, Dr. James Hugg, Kristy Blanco, Janet Schnoebelen, Trina Spencer, Sandy Wagner, Connie Schmidt, Michelle Richey, Hilde Place, Lynn Binkley, Theda Olson and her Notre Dame family. She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Wayne Owens; one brother, Richard Dale Owens; two nieces, Kimberly Dale Owens and Julie Ann Robinson; her grandparents and several aunts and uncles. Friends may call after noon on Thursday, September 9th, in Lunning Chapel where the family will receive friends following a 6:00 p.m. Rosary until 8:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Gach will be 9:00 a.m. Friday, September 10th, at Notre Dame School, Elementary Gym. The Rev. Mark Spring will be the celebrant and the Very Rev. David Steinle and the Very Rev. Anthony J. Herald will be the concelebrants, assisted by Deacon Robert Gengenbacher. Memorials have been established for her children's education at Notre Dame. There will also be a visitation at First Christian Church - Disciples of Christ in Eagleville, Missouri on Saturday, September 11th, where the family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:30 a.m. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Bill Farrens officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Cemetery, Blythedale, Missouri.
