Lois Jean Wait Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, Reynolds United Methodist Church. Visitation: 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, church. Lois Jean Wait, 76, Reynolds, died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006, at her home. Burial will be at Reynolds Cemetery. Memorials may be left to the church. Fippinger Funeral Home, Aledo, Ill., is in charge of arrangements. Miss Wait was born March 16, 1930, in Davenport, the daughter of Robert Cyrus and Jennie Veda McConnell Wait. She graduated from the Reynolds High School and the University of Iowa. She received her master's in music from Colorado State University. She taught school in Washington, Iowa and in the Chicago area including the Brookfield School District until returning to Reynolds to care for her mother and father. She was an accomplished pianist having taught piano lessons in her home for many years. She was a member of Reynolds United Methodist Church where she was the church organist for many years. Other memberships include the United Methodist Church Women, the Quad City Arts and the Quad City Music Guild.
