Larry Eugene Murdock

Larry Murdock Larry Eugene Murdock, 65, Abilene, formerly of the Atalissa and Grandview areas, died Sept. 14, 2006, in Texas. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty, after cremation. Mr. Murdock was born Jan. 15, 1941, the son of Wilbur and Gertrude Jacobs Murdock. He married Sandra Beach on Jan. 21, 1960, in Springdale, Iowa. He was involved in agricultural sales most of his life. Survivors include a son, Jerry and wife Julie of Big Springs, Texas; a daughter, Sherri of Abilene; four grandchildren; three brothers, F.D. "Butch" Murdock of Muscatine, Wes Murdock of Wilton and Joel "Coke" Murdock of Mountain Grove, Mo.; and a sister, Jewel Howard of Tipton. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and three brothers, Ronald Murdock, Harold Murdock and Virgil Murdock. [more]
