Robert Lick MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Robert G. Lick, 74, Muscatine, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006, at his home. Memorial graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, Greenwood Cemetery, with military rites by the combined units of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1565 and American Legion Post 27. The Rev. Dan Schoepf will officiate. After the services, a time of food and fellowship will be held in the Community Room at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services, 2907 Mulberry Ave. There will be no visitation. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements. A memorial has been established at the funeral home. Mr. Lick was born June 3, 1932, in Muscatine, the son of Emil and Lydia Klebe Lick. He married Barbara J. Brase in 1966; they later divorced. He was an U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Moose, VFW Post 1565 and American Legion Post 27. He was a teacher at Muscatine High School for 34 years. n of Tipton; two sons, Stephen M. Lick and wife Marla and Scott R. Bierman, all of Muscatine; two stepdaughters, Lori A. Steele of Muscatine and Lynne M. McLarney and husband Justin of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; and a brother, Clarence E. Lick and wife Mary of Muscatine. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Harold and an infant brother; and two sisters, Ida Dieckman and Helen Collins.
