Marie Coulter NEW BOSTON, Ill. -- Marie Coulter, 85, New Boston, died Friday, Oct. 13, 2006, at Mercer County Nursing Home, Aledo, Ill. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006, at the United Methodist Church, New Boston, Ill. Burial will be at New Boston Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2006, at the church. Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo, is handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to New Boston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance. Mrs. Coulter was born Jan. 22, 1921, in Texas County, Mo., the daughter of Sim and Annie Henderson Adkins. She married Fred Coulter on Dec. 14, 1937, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death Oct. 9, 1996. She was a homemaker and helped on the farm. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, music and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include three daughters, Joann Richter and husband, Joe, and Ruthie Duncan and husband, Jerry, all of New Boston, and Shirley Bond and husband, Melvin, of Aledo; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; special friend, Mamie Howe of Eliza, Ill.; and a nephew, Albert Adkins of Missouri.
