ather who took pride in supporting his family. Marty never met a stranger and always lit up the room with his bold presence. He was kind to all and gave the biggest, warmest hugs. His easy-going spirit, infectious "crooked" smile, witty humor that would create endless laughter could make anyone's day. Marty was an avid fisherman and hunter. He made the best barbeque brisket and competed in cookoffs. He loved having family and friends for crawfish boils. Marty was known and loved by many and will be sincerely missed. He was preceded in death by his father Howard Daniel Passmore. Left behind to cherish fond memories include his loving wife of 16 years, Elizabeth Loretta Passmore; two daughters, Eleanora "Ellie" Passmore and Emma Alexis Passmore; mother, Mary Teresa (Lesh) Passmore of Scranton, PA; three brothers, Thomas J. (Raeann) Passmore of Scranton PA, Daniel H. (Jennifer) Passmore of El Paso, TX; Timothy P. (Anne Marie) Passmore of San Antonio, TX, brother-in-law Raider A. (Tina Hopkins) Morgan; and three nieces, four nephews. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Thursday, May 27th at Harrell's Funeral Home in Dripping Springs, TX with a rosary to be recited. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 28th at 10 am at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Dripping Springs, TX followed by a Military Honor at 3:00 p.m. at Ft. Sam Houston Veterans Cemetery in San Antonio, TX. Serving as pallbearers will be John McCrackin, Peter Morgan, Steven Morgan, Daniel Passmore, Thomas Passmore, and Timothy Passmore; Jonathon Lesh and Chris Shampine. Although Marty was from Pennsylvania, he had a soft-spot and bond with Texas and enjoyed his time on his lease in Beeville, TX.
