NELLIE LOHSE MUSCATINE, Iowa - Nellie R. Lohse, 84, died on Sunday, December 24, 2006, at Muscatine Care Center in Muscatine. Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2006, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Rev. Clark Pantel of Mulford Evangelical Free Church will officiate the service. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2006, at the funeral home. She was born on December 29, 1921 in Muscatine, the daughter of Charles W. and Florence A. Thompson Vetter. Nellie married Alvin P. Lohse, on June 3, 1961, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death in 1992. She was a member of Mulford Evangelical Free Church and the Phileo Group at church. She retired from H. J. Heinz Co and enjoyed going to their retirement dinners.
