Joseph Thomas Hoffman CHICAGO, Ill. - Joseph Thomas Hoffman, 58, of Chicago, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, in Chicago. There will be no service or visitation. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery in Rock Island, Ill. Arrangements are being handled by the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Mr. Hoffman was born August 18, 1948, in Chicago, the son of John and Marian Barrett Hoffman. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Survivors include two sisters, Terri Hoffman of Des Moines and Mary Kirk of Vail, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, John Hoffman. [more]
