Patricia F. "Pat" Stading (nee Hurley), Age 74, a resident of Naperville, IL since 1977, died Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. She was born May 13, 1936 in Ponca, NE. Visitation Friday, September 17, 9:00-10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1500 Brookdale Rd., Naperville, IL 60563. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow Friday, 10:00 A.M. at the church. Additional visitation Saturday, September 18, 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Mohr Funeral Home, 218 N. East St., Ponca, NE. Graveside services will follow Saturday, 6:15 P.M. at South Creek Cemetery, rural Ponca, NE. Loving mother of the late Scott Charles Stading, devoted daughter of the late Dorothy and Frank Hurley, beloved sister of Mary Kay (Charles) Mahler of Allen, NE, Dennis (Cathy) Hurley of Ponca, NE and Jim (Marylou) Hurley of Winona, MN and a dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Pat grew up on a farm near Ponca, was a member of the class of 1953 at Ponca High School and a 1957 graduate of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln receiving a degree in education.
