Daniel J. Webb, 45, of Fort Dodge died Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Trinity Regional Medical Center with his family by his side. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 11, 2021 in the chapel of Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Daniel is survived by his wife, Stacy Webb; children, Ethan Webb of Omaha and Emma Webb of Atlantic; his mother and step-father, Sandy and Gary Thurston of Fort Dodge; father, Jerry Webb of Fort Dodge; and siblings, Shelly and Mark Tubbs of Ackley and Angie Webb (Trent Hancox) of Clear Lake; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Alice Sommerfeld and nephew, Jacob Tubbs. Daniel Jay Webb was born January 10, 1976 in Fort Dodge. He attended public schools and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. He then attended Iowa Central Community College where he earned his electrician degree. He was employed with Martin-Marietta for the past 12 years. On March 17, 2017 he was united in marriage to Stacy Jewell. The couple made their home in Fort Dodge.
