JERRY STIEGER MUSCATINE, Iowa - Jerry Stieger, 67, of Muscatine, died Wednesday, February 28, 2007, at the Clarissa Cook Hospice Home, Bettendorf, Iowa. Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2007, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Ted Landers of the Calvary Church will officiate the service. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Fort Madison. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2007, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Clarissa Cook Hospice House. Jerry was born on February 22, 1940, in Fort Madison, the son of Roy and Mildred Nestle Stieger. He worked for Frito-Lay for 18 years retiring in 2003. He was a graduate of the Fort Madison High School and served in the US Air Force. He loved to travel and always enjoyed his summer trips with his grandchildren. He enjoyed late model dirt track racing and Iowa Hawkeye Basketball games.
