Joyce A. Butcher

Joyce Anne (Hollingsworth) Butcher, 84 of Summitville, died Monday, June 21, 2021, at Community Hospital in Anderson. Joyce was born on November 12, 1936, in Summitville, Indiana, the daughter of the late Omer and Alberta H. (Bloom) Hollingsworth. She graduated from Summitville High School. Joyce married Donald E. Butcher on July 28, 1957, in Fairmount. He preceded her in death on April 26, 1994. Through the years Joyce had worked at RCA, Crossroads Restaurant, and Fairmount Laundromat. She enjoyed going to rummage sales, canning and dearly loved her grandchildren. Joyce is survived by three children, Debra (Allen) Towell, Portland, Karen Butcher, Summitville, and Ronald Butcher; three siblings, Leon (Marjorie) Hollingsworth, Loretta (Keith) Dow, and Dennis (Grace) Hollingsworth; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild Services for Joyce will be at the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S.
