NATHAN PHILLIPS MUSCATINE, Iowa - Nathan Phillips, 36, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at home. Celebration of Life will be from 1 until 4 p.m., on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at the American Legion. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Nathan was born on August 21, 1984, in Iowa City, the son of Mark Phillips and Carol Thorne. He worked at Heinz as a line man. Nathan enjoyed working on cars, fishing, and swimming. Those left to honor his memory include his mother and stepfather, Carol Snyder, and Daryle 'Buck' Clayton, both of Muscatine; his significant other, Jennifer Martinez of Muscatine; his children Odin Phillips, Tanner Phillips, Skyler Phillips, and Saphyre Adams, all of Muscatine; his stepchildren, Hailey, Zach, and Cody; and Lacey Foster of New Boston; and brother, Manual Trevizo of Iowa City.
