Visitation: 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, Fry Funeral Home, Tipton BENNETT, Iowa -- Lois Evelyn Hein, 90, of 1200 Mulberry St., Tipton, died May 25, 2007, at Cedar Manor Nursing Home, Tipton. Burial will be at Lowden Cemetery, Lowden. Memorials may be left to Trinity Lutheran Church and Cedar Manor Nursing Home. The Rev. Donnita Moeller will officiate. She was born Jan. 28, 1917, in Wheatland to Fred Schnede and Lucinda Peckenschneider. She married Marvin Hein on March 28, 1937, in Lowden. She was a homemaker and waitress most of her life. She was a 1935 graduate of Wheatland High School and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Tipton. Survivors include five sons, Larry (Ilaina) Hein of Bennett, Don (Jan) Hein of Iowa City, Dick (Sharon) Hein of Bennett, Gary (Linda) Hein of Waseca, Minn., Dale (Barb) Hein of Durant, 14 grandchildren and 23 great-granchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson, Jeffrey Allen Hein, a great-grandson, Kegan Andrew Koehler, sisters Nola Weih and Nadine Ruggeberg, and a brother, Virgil Schnede.
