Scott Frederick Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 23, Emmanuel-St. John Lutheran Church, Lytton, Iowa. Visitation: 5-8 p.m., today, June 22, Farber and Otteman Funeral Home, Sac City. MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Scott Edward Frederick, 25, died at his home June 18, 2007, in Muscatine. The Rev. Wayne Pfannkuch will officiate. Burial will be at Cory Grove Cemetery. Mr. Frederick was born Oct. 26, 1981, in Sac City, Iowa, to James and Janis (Erickson) Frederick. In 1989, his family moved to Decorah. He was baptized at the Methodist Church and confirmed in the Lutheran Church in Decorah. He graduated in 2000 from Thomas Roberts High School. As a student, he enjoyed playing football and attending the Lutheran youth group at church. He was a big Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Eagles fan, loved playing a round of golf with his family and friends, going to concerts and especially family gatherings and teasing his nieces and nephews. He started working at the K and S Super Value and Fareway Grocery Store while he was in high school. He made many friends at work and will be truly missed by everyone who knew him. Survivors include his parents; his son, Bradley of Decorah; his two sisters, Lory Penniman and her husband, Mike, of Sac City and Mindy Frederick of Johnston, Iowa; two brothers, Mike Frederick and his wife, Sarah, of Spencer, Iowa and Kevin Frederick and his wife, Stephanie, of Sac City; his grandparents, Wayland and Delores Frederick of Strawberry Point; eight nieces and nephews; many aunts and uncles; and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Art and Evelyn Erickson.
